RECYCLING – IMPORTANT FOR OUR FUTURE
Aluminium is one of the most valuable recycling materials and offers us an attractive incentive to recycle efficiently. This not only reduces our waste, but also helps us to save energy in order to develop and obtain new raw materials. Recycling aluminium saves 95% of the energy that would be required to obtain new metal.
ALUMINIUM, THE “LIGHT METAL”
Aluminium weighs only 5–10% of traditional roof covering materials, making a weight saving of 90–95%. From production and storage to transport and installation, even the substructure can be made much smaller. Given the longevity of PREFA aluminium roof elements (do not break, rust or freeze), these products have an extremely favourable energy balance.
