Apartment complex in Padua: Reference objects
Introduction
The four buildings in the apartment complex in Padua are arranged around a large, green square which lends a natural and airy character to the urban space. The creamy white colour that characterises the façades and the closing elements, like balcony railings and roller shutters, dominates the building’s aesthetic and creates a harmonious contrast with the brown tones of the sophisticated ‘drapes’ that clad and protect the balconies. One of the architectural challenges was to create a façade with no visible fixings. The aluminium façade was achieved using 1,600 m² of PREFA siding in P.10 brown, selected for its perfect evenness, durability and lightness.
