Uncoiling/Unwinding

The aluminium coil must be easily unrolled without tension.
When doing so, observe the following points:

Roll size and weight must be matched to the decoiling system or unwinder used.
Coils weighing over 70 kg may only be processed with suitable decoiling systems or unwinders.
A sufficient distance between the decoiler/unwinder and the roll-forming machine must be maintained to ensure safe material guidance.
The unwinding is undercut, i.e. the coil inside later becomes the visible side after roll forming.
