Installation variant “In the jamb (flush)”

The recess is to be created with a cut-out / a placeholder (U-profile dimensions + 5 mm).
All unevenness must be compensated by rendering with a suitable material.
Place the U-profile in the recess, mark the drill holes and drill.

Note

The flood protection solution may only be installed on load-bearing wall structures!

Attach two beads of waterproof and permanently elastic sealant to the back of the U-profile.
In the event of direct contact with concrete, a protective coating on the back of the U-profile is recommended.
Attach the sealant bead to the bottom of the base profile.
When screwing the U-profile into the M8/M10 countersunk drill holes, ensure that the screw heads are flush with each other.

Caution!

In the case of “flush in the soffit” installation, the upward profile release must be taken into account.
