When roll forming, it is important to ensure that the profile dimensions correspond to the specifications and that the profiling machine is used in accordance with the operating instructions.
The angles and dimensions of the profile to be observed are shown in the figure below and must be strictly adhered to. Changes to the profile dimensions can lead to the bulging of the panels and incorrect installation!
Important
A dimension of 9 mm on the underlay side must not be exceeded.
The following basically applies: After each change to machine settings, the dimensions and angles must be carefully checked on a test panel made from the respective specified material before series production begins.
The dimensions may vary slightly depending on the profiling system used.
Note
For bare PREFALZ sheets, additional measures must be observed. In order to enable problem-free gliding through the numerous rollers, the bare aluminium strip must be sufficiently lubricated with an easily degradable,
biological oil (e.g. WD 40) on both sides of the profiling.
