“A good hand needs good tools.” This proverb also applies to the tools required for the installation of PREFA roof and façade systems.
Important
Only high quality tools designed and made for metal work should be used. Tools and machines should not have any sharp edges or corners (rework tools if necessary) to minimise visible marks and dents. Flashings should be marked with a soft pencil, as sharp-edged tools can cause a notch effect, which could then lead to a fracture as a result of increased stress concentration.
