Purpose and scope of the installation directive, disclaimer of liability

This installation policy is a guideline. This is aimed exclusively at specialized companies in the field of the use of PREFA products, in particular architects, other planners, builders and craftsmen who are entrusted with the planning, preparation and/or assembly of PREFA products as well as the provision of related consulting services for construction projects by end users. End users themselves cannot derive any rights or claims against PREFA from this installation policy as well as the instructions and instructions contained herein.

Neither this installation directive nor any other advice or comments from PREFA can replace or modify any careful advice, preparation and planning of the use of PREFA products and their installation in the course of a concrete construction project by competent companies, which is why the relationship of such specialist companies by the end user is a prerequisite for the stock of the guarantee provided by PREFA. Only the service providers commissioned to supervise the construction project are in a position to decide how PREFA products are to be installed and used, while taking the specific local conditions of the individual case into account.

These installation guidelines also do not release the specialist companies mentioned as addressees from independent thinking and action. All relevant legal regulations, standards and rules of technology must be observed on the part of these specialist companies.

The included sketches provide assistance and information for the usual application. We would like to point out that each construction project must be considered individually and checked for its specific requirements. In particular, legal, technical, building physics as well as local conditions and specifications of the individual case, such as questions of the need for approval and capability of the construction project, fire protection regulations or external influences, which can affect the object, for example in exposed locations with strong wind loads, must be collected and taken into account by the specialist companies entrusted with the construction project, especially since these general laying guidelines cannot take this into account.

This installation guideline takes into account the current state of technology and product development applicable at the time of its creation. PREFA's free provision of this installation directive and other documents does not constitute a contractual or contractual performance by PREFA and cannot be interpreted in this direction.

By using this installation policy, the user agrees that, to the extent permitted by applicable law, PREFA assumes no liability, as always, for direct or indirect costs, damages or other claims of the user or third parties, which could have their (co-) cause in this installation policy or the instructions and instructions contained herein or their error or defect or incompleteness.
