Installation varinat “in front of the reveal”

  • For structural reasons (e.g. insulation in front of the jamb), increased spacing may be required. In this case, the spacing must be increased accordingly.
  • Align the outer edge of the base profile vertically from the measuring point and set it back about 5 mm from the edge of the jamb, and mark and drill the installation holes. Before installing the base profiles, straighten any unevenness, and smooth or treat the substrate if necessary.

Note

The flood protection solution may only be installed on load-bearing wall structures!

  • Attach two beads of waterproof and permanently elastic sealant to the back of the base profile. In the event of direct contact with concrete, a protective coating on the back of the base profile is recommended.
  • Attach the sealant bead to the bottom of the base profile.
  • Install with suitable fasteners depending on the substrate (dowels, screws, threaded rod, etc.).
