Head detail

In order to allow a substantial airflow, an opening must be provided at the top. Install a perforated flashing with an approx 90 degree termination for greater stability.

Head detail – Preparation

Install a channel profile for the head detail to hide the cut edges, and edge the last small-format product forward by an additional 30 mm after cutting.

  • Shorten the last small-format product according to its actual measurements with an allowance of 30 mm (Image 1).
  • For fastening, selectively notch the channel profile (Image 2).
  • Bend the covering profile to match the channel profile (Image 3).
  • Fix the cover flashing to the channel with either an adhesive or rivets (Image 4).
