Installation direction, fastening and assembling

Rhomboids 20 x 20 can be installed in both directions, left and right, but do not change direction during installation. Adhere to the laying direction once started. Never cover to the middle (Exception: Penetrations).

Each 44 × 44 rhomboid façade tile is fastened directly through the pre-punched fastening hole with four supplied ring nails 2.8/25.

In areas particularly prone to storms, a wind load calculation is required and fastenings must be adjusted according to the calculation.

For bottom and top connections, start and end plates are required (1.48 pcs./lfm).

  • Push 44 x 44 rhomboid façade tiles into the folds, align them with the vertical lacing and fasten to the pre-punched holes with the supplied ring nails 2.8/25 (standard fastening 4 pcs. per 44 x 44 rhomboid façade tile) (Image 1)
  • In areas particularly prone to storms, a wind load calculation is required and fastenings must be adjusted according to the calculation. If a protrusion of the rhomboid façade tile 44 × 44 on the bottom is not desired (Fig. 2), an additional starter strip can be installed before fixing the starting plates (Fig. 3).

CAUTION: Do not bend the bottom tip of the 44 x 44 rhomboid roof tile downwards.
