Installing the PREFA joint

  • Insert PREFA joint into the stop end of the siding (Fig. 1).
  • Fix PREFA joint to the back of the siding using a pre-bent tab (Fig. 2).
  • Install siding with pre-installed joint according to the siding installation guidelines and fasten to the sub-structure framework (Fig. 3).
  • Position the next siding and insert the lateral stop end into the PREFA joint (Fig. 4).
  • Fix the flap to the back of the PREFA joint on the siding (Fig. 5).
  • Install next PREFA siding with corresponding offset (Fig. 6).
