In order to allow a substantial airflow, an opening must be provided at the top. Install a perforated flashing with an approx 90 degree termination for greater stability.
For a neat detail of the horizontal siding façade, it is necessary to trim the last siding vertically to make it suit the required dimensions. In order to install the siding, siding.X or perforated siding without a fixing strip, an additional flashing strip is required. First mount the flashing strip to the substructure and then fasten the shortened siding to the flashing strip using PREFA patent rivets.
Note
As an alternative to a PREFA patent rivet, you can also glue the siding to the flashing strip.
During installation, pay attention to the arrangement of fix and sliding points to allow expansion/contraction of panels.
For a vertical siding, install a pocket profile instead of a flashing strip.
