PREFA sliding clips generally allow a PREFALZ strip length of up to 12 meters.
Standing seam coverings on façades should be executed with a maximum strip length of 4 meters! This offers advantages during installation (scaffolding) and helps to meet the special visual appearance and flatness requirements specific to façade claddings. Nevertheless, the properties typical of thin sheet metal (waviness, reflection, stresses, etc.) must be taken into account and cannot be excluded.
For strip lengths > 4 metres, we recommend using panel or mirror cladding.
