Installation of trays

Note

On façades, standing seam claddings are primarily executed using angled standing seam technique. An angled standing seam results in lower stresses in the aluminium sheets, which helps to improve the visual appearance and flatness requirements that are specific to façade claddings. Nevertheless, the properties typical of thin sheet metal (waviness, reflection, stresses, etc.) must be taken into account and cannot be excluded.

When installing, do not pull the panels apart or press them together (see figure below).

The lateral expansion (B) of the panels must be taken into account: This spacing can vary depending on the roll former and system used.

Attention

Install only one sheet at a time, set the grip pliers, close the seams and fix the clips afterwards!
