A slight lateral offset of the PREFABOND composite panels, caused during the manufacturing process, cannot be ruled out on the longitudinal sides of the aluminium composite panels. Punched edges are visible on the broad sides. These are caused when the boards are cut to length.
For this reason, when ordering unprocessed panels, make sure that the untrimmed dimensions are trimmed on all sides by at least 5 mm. This way you get attractive, cut edges all round, and you can be sure that the panels are perpendicular in compliance with the manufacturer’s guidelines. If necessary, deburr the panels after trimming.
If the PREFA composite panels are cut to size at the factory, they will always be trimmed as standard.
