Make sure that PREFABOND aluminium composite panels do not come into direct contact with heavy metals (e.g. copper or iron) because of the high risk of corrosion. In order to use different materials together, the materials must be coated or separated from the aluminium composite panels by electrical insulating spacers (e.g. plastic washers).

Materials must always be separated correctly when being used outdoors.

PREFABOND must be protected from the damaging effects of other building parts (e.g. concrete) or the environment (corrosive elements in the surrounding area such as de-icing salt).
