Thanks to the perfectly coordinated system and their low weight, the rhomboid tiles can be used problem-free on new roofs and renovations. They make for a traditionally timeless appearance, but can also be used in combination with the façade for a modern architectural style. The 0.7 mm thick coil-coated aluminium and the proven flat lock technology of the PREFA roof systems ensure maximum durability and extreme weather resistance.

Do you have questions about the rhomboid roof tile 29 × 29?
PREFA roof tiles, roof shingles, rhomboid roof tiles and FX.12 roof panels are an excellent choice for covering over older existing roofs thanks to their light weight. They can be quickly mounted to the existing roofing material, such as bitumen shingles or bituminous sheeting. This type of covering requires an intact sub-structure, correct roof pitch and other basic structural requirements!

Roof structure when using roof rhomboid tiles 29 × 29
PREFA aluminium roofs ideally have a ventilated build up, where the roof cover and thermal insulation is separated by a ventilated gap. This means any occasional condensation can be wicked away again.
For the most part, the roof is ventilated, as can be seen in the first picture. However, the whole attic space can also be ventilated (second picture).
