Merkur Ice Stadium in Graz: Reference objects
Introduction
A façade material that radiates something crystalline and is easy to use was sought. The intention here was not to create a small-scale structure, but something homogeneous and large-scale. The Siding façade panels in P.10 pure white were to be laid vertically around the building in one go like a mantle. It was important that there would be no horizontal interruptions in the façade due to installation joints. PREFA made this possible and planned and delivered the individually cut elements in the desired size of up to 7 metres for this special building-based solution.
