Lollipoppet Castle: Reference objects
Introduction
At Sundown Adventureland in Rampton, Nottinghamshire, an imaginative castle landscape is taking shape, instantly transporting visitors into a fairy-tale world. Lollipoppet Castle is characterised by several whimsical towers with conical roofs, small buildings with varying roof pitches and winding floor plans. The pastel-coloured façades are harmoniously coordinated and are complemented by the striking roofs made from PREFALZ standing seam in P.10 patina green.
It is precisely in the numerous curves, pointed roofs and complex geometries that this flexible material demonstrates its particular strengths. Aluminium is extremely malleable and allows for precise solutions, even with intricate details. In addition to the creative freedom it offers, the PREFALZ standing seam roof also impresses in terms of functionality: it is corrosion-resistant, durable and particularly resilient to the elements.
