Fessenheim cultural centre: Reference objects
Introduction
A lively club and cultural life reigns in the town of Fessenheim. In order to meet these requirements, the community and cultural centre was renovated. As part of the renovation, the roof was completely restructured. The roof area was extended and fitted with new windows.
The roof and façade surfaces of the top floor, as well as the balcony on the floor below, were re-covered with PREFA rhomboid roof and façade tiles 44×44 in the special colour sparkling gold. The material was primarily chosen for aesthetic reasons. The festive and shiny scale look corresponds exactly to the ideas of the responsible architect, Mélanie Zenetti. The decision was also based on the low weight and easy handling of the rhomboids.
