MPREIS Warenvertriebs GesmbH teamed up with the Innsbruck-based architects from LAAC to build a new supermarket in the tourist resort of Sölden in Tyrol. A total of 700m² of aluminium composite panels were produced in the special colour 'Reflective Natural' to achieve exactly the effect the architects had in mind. The Ötztal Alps are reflected in the matt reflective aluminium façades of the store.

The installation team from Reinhard Eder Blechbau pushed and held the six-metre-high aluminium composite panels from above over the parapet in order to rivet them to the façade. In this way, the aluminium composite panels could be installed without additional joints.
