Grand Corvin Residential Complex in Budapest: Reference objects
Introduction
The Corvin district in the heart of Budapest has developed from a slum into one of the city's most sought-after residential areas in just two decades. It is one of the largest urban renewal projects in Central Europe. The exclusive residential area is now characterised by architectural diversity and high-quality materials.
When designing the Grand Corvin residential complex, the architects placed great emphasis on light, green spaces and high-quality materials. Over 800 m² of vertically installed PREFA sidings in a specially developed salmon metallic colour with a brushed finish give the building complex a lively, modern look. The colour of the aluminium cladding adds a fresh, contemporary accent to the 700-metre-long Corvin Promenade. The façade panels are also weather-resistant, durable and low-maintenance.
