Dynamic, static – wow!

A building that combines opposites has the potential to set new design standards. Architect Daniel Zerzán, who won the contract for the new construction of a petrol station in a heavily frequented area southeast of Prague, is well aware of this. He gave the building an asymmetrical PREFABOND façade in black grey and pure white and an ingenious geometry, conceiving its architecture as a decisive factor in the modernisation process the client had in mind for the place. In doing so, Daniel Zerzán also explored the (not that impossible) question: How can you capture the laws of dynamics in a static form?
