Two white tiny houses in Kančevci: Reference objects
Introduction
Two tiny houses with a white aluminium shell stand in the middle of the picturesque landscape of Kančevci in Slovenia. The buildings are part of the ‘Pri Momi’ event location and serve as comfortable guest accommodation for parties, weddings and family celebrations.
The two modular buildings were erected using a timber frame construction method and consist of 85% wood. The PREFALZ micro houses are clad in the colour P.10 pure white. The white standing seam cladding was laid in different panel widths and features elegant details. Among other things, the external seams on the edges of the building are slightly higher, explicitly emphasising the simple shape of the tiny houses. The excellently executed seams and lines make the material appear soft and flowing.
One detail at the eaves is particularly interesting: the transition from the roof to the façade is achieved with a slightly protruding rebate without visually interrupting the vertical standing seams. There is no real gutter, as the roof area is only 21 m².
