Residence in Augsburg: Reference objects
Introduction
With its two gables and steep roof, this care home for people with disabilities stands proudly in the noble district of Kuhsee in Augsburg.
Alongside the sharp lines of the roof, which is made from PREFALZ P.10 in zinc grey, the property’s façade is characterised in particular by its windows. The unique shutters were the subject of intense discussion, and the architects’ design proved a winning one – as the shutters create a warm light inside. The room is drenched in a beautiful golden hue.
