Aura Malmö: Reference objects
Introduction
AURA is a new construction in a former harbour area between the central train station and Öresund. It forms part of the large-scale urban development area of Citadellstaden and is home to offices, small businesses and a public nursery school.
The load-bearing steel construction of the roof is covered with 2000 m² of PREFALZ, coated with a custom finish from PREFA. The newly developed custom colour is called ‘Gold Jaisalmer 2525’ after the Indian desert city of Jaisalmer. Jaisalmer’s reputation as a ‘Golden City’ was the basis for the shimmering colour used in this coating.
