PREFA gutters have proven themselves for decades. A broad range of 10 standard colours and any possible special colour (RAL- and NCS-colour systems) allow practically any creative variation. With the colour-in-colour solution and the architecturally designed contrast, anything is possilbe. PREFA gutters are made of colour coated alloys based on EN 573 or DIN 1725 respectively.

The coating of the gutters and pipes done with the coil-coating method is subject to the strict regulations of the European Coil Coating Association in Brussels. With a weather resistance to outside temperatures varying from –30°C to +80°C degrees, the product corresponds with the high demands of outer architecture. The varnish is resistant to all types of weather. The coil coating production is accompanied by rigid quality controls. Coating thickness, level of brightness, shade, varnish hardness, varnish adhesiveness, varnish composition, continuous workability, varnish cure are important test criteria. Next to those, long-term studies with salt spray tests and exterior weather tests are made.
